Organizing mods question.

Do all my mods have to be in just the MAIN mods folder or could I create subfolders? Eg. Clothes folder for all clothing related mods, PPJA for all PPJA related mods.

You can create subfolders within your Mods folder as SMAPI will keep searching until it finds a manifest.

Here's how my Mods folder looks

I even have more under some folders (This is my Content Patcher folder)

And then under [CP] Map Recolors & Replacements I put the corresponding mods

Keep nesting folders until your hearts content!

Wow. I was afraid it was gonna affect how the game loads the mods. Now I can fix my very messy mod folder.Thank you very much! .
