Hello, I currently play Stardew Valley with a few friends (7 players including me)...
We use quite a lot of mods, which were said to be the cause of high RAM usage. However, for some strange reason, I'm the only one experiencing issues with RAM usage.
Example:
I was farming wood while the others were in different areas of the game, and my RAM usage would normally be around 55-60%.
Without any specific reason, I could continue chopping trees, use a hoe to cut some grass, or even just stand around doing nothing, and the RAM usage would increase by a few percent each second. Eventually, it reaches a point where the game crashes, or my PC starts struggling, forcing me to close the game via Task Manager.
Then, I discovered an odd "solution" to this problem, and again, I’m the only one out of seven people experiencing this. The solution is that when I notice the RAM usage increasing, I open the inventory by either pressing the "E" or "Esc" key on my keyboard, and the RAM usage instantly drops back to the normal 55-60%.
Has anyone else encountered similar problems and found a solution? It can't be that we're using too many mods, because if that were the case, everyone would be experiencing these issues, not just me.
Two of the other players also have much worse PCs than I do, so I don't know if it's a hardware-related problem.
I would really appreciate any help. Thank you!
