Because of our different work schedules and time zones, and since I’m the host player, friends of mine can’t access the game when I’m offline. While a big part of the fun in multiplayer comes from playing together at the same time, I believe my situation is quite common for groups with more than two players or for friends living in different countries.
I am aware of the possibility of DIYing a server, it's however pretty hard for us newbies to set up. It would be fantastic if we could get an official way of setting up a multiplayer server, so that everyone can log in and push the game when they have time.
