Not able to enter Sebastian's room

Hello, this is my first post on this website so I am not sure if I am formatting this right.
I am at 3 hearts with Sebastian but I still can't enter his room. Do I have to get more hearts with him? Is there a heart event that triggers it?
I am playing on the switch so there are no mods or anything

Edit: Someone helped me figure it out, I wasn't walking down far enough to interact with the door.

No, when I try to enter it does not say anything.

You should be able to enter then. It unlocks at 2 hearts, no other special requirements or cutscenes. You do have to press a button to open the door, not sure which button that is on the switch offhand, but if you haven't already I would try them all and see how that goes. Best of luck!

I tried every button and it still won't let me enter for some reason.

Are you sure you are walking down far enough to interact with the door? Are you able to enter other NPC's rooms that you have enough hearts with?

I think I wasn't walking down far enough to interact with the door, I walked down a bit further and I was able to enter.
