Noob errors in SDV

What is your noob error in Stardew Valley? A mistake you've made, or an item you've forgotten about? Here's my two: Panicking because I had no red cabbage seeds and it was year three and I was like, "this is the year I lock in and complete the community center!" and then opening one of my many chests before a mines run and seeing red cabbage seeds in all their mocking glory. grrrrrr... And my second is when I realised you can't open the parcels in cabins and I thought I could cheat the system and get a hundred parsnip seeds. 😭

I didn't know you could zoom out and didn't know the map well so I'd constantly pass out from not being able to find my way to the farm
Couldn't figure out how to get ore, so following the instructions from google to go into some cave I went into the farm one and wasted all my energy trying to mine something in there
On my very first playthrough I got the living hat when coming back from the hat mouse and when I saw it in my inventory I thought "huh neat hat must've accidentally bought it"
Later that save got deleted because I finished the CC and thought there was nothing else to do besides grind money for the obelisks. Uninstalled the game.
Also I found out how to buy seeds around fall y2. Before that I'd get so confused when help wanted quests asked for crops since I had no idea how to get those.
