Switch No special trees or fern during green rain on switch post jan. 18 patch

I'm on switch lite and updated the game yesterday after the latest patch dropped, and everything seemed fine, but unfortunately I am now on the green rain day (year 2) and aside from the rain itself, TV static and NPCs special dialogue, nothing has changed. There are no special trees, fiddlehead ferns, or huge patches of grass anywhere on the map :/

Thanks for reporting. I'm not sure if Barone has made any statements, but hopefully he and his team are working diligently on yet another patch...

This is unfortunate, but expected, with the way RNG changed in the latest update. It won't happen anymore in subsequent years (and it's possible you may still get another one in Year 2).
