No mail popping up (SVE and Grandpa's Farm)

Salutations fellow Stardewers!

I'm playing with Stardew Valley Expanded and Grandpa's Farm (as well as some appearance mods, if my mod folder is requested I'd gladly share it). On the day after I finished the Grandpa's Shed quest, I get the cutscene with Robin and there's mail in my letterbox. I go over to click it and it just vanishes. I suspect it might be related to Grandpa's Shed by just skimming through the code but my knowledge is very limited, so if anyone can help me out I'd deeply appreciate it.

I've included the savefile below.

Steps to reproduce: Load up the file and check the mailbox.
Expected vs actual result: The letter is supposed to pop up (?), but the letter just vanishes.

Idk if this is helpful or not but do you have the mail framework mod installed?

No I don't have it installed, I only have the required mods plus a few purely cosmetic ones
