Windows No energy from eating grape?

Hi all. I think I have stumbled across a bug in my game. I ate a silver-star grape in order to free inventory space and did not receive any energy - it stayed at 3/270. I may have cut short the "eating" animation by picking up another forage item. The silver-star grape wasn't dropped on the ground and is no longer in my inventory.

I don't know how to find the version, but Steam says it last updated 18th Nov 2024, so it should be 1.6.14.
