No Beach Portraits

What happens if you play with a mod that has no beach portraits for a character? Do they just wear regular clothes?

I'm not entirely sure as I haven't really messed with portrait mods too much, but from what I understand most of them only change the little portrait of their face that comes up when you speak to them, not their entire sprites. I may be wrong in that, but I don't think it should change their clothing. I suppose I'll have to try a portrait mod and find out for sure!

I would assume so, if a mod programs for the character to go to ginger island I would assume they have thought of that and have made beach attire or deemed it unnecessary

If you mean a mod that adds a new character, I'd agree with FilthyGorilla, but if you mean a mod that changes that sprites or portraits for an existing npc, my guess would be that it would use the regular beach portraits from an unmodded game.

Just their regular clothes. I had the Stray Catfe on when it didn't even have GI dialogue, and Theo and Tabitha came to the beach in their regular outfits.
