New To Gaming World and Stardew Valley

Hi! I have never been a gamer but a friend introduced Stardew Valley to me last year, since then I have not been able to stop playing. The past year I have basically doing the absolute bare minimum and been extremely content just farming, mining, and walking around (Hey, they say there is no wrong way to play)! Lately it has been a goal of mine to start learning more about unlocking locations, accomplishing quests, and whatever secret fun there is to uncover.

Not only am I very new to all of this, I am a chill girl in her early 30's just playing for a relaxing end of day activity. I am here to hopefully meet new people, learn from experienced players, and just make a connection over something we all love.

Welcome to the Stardew Valley forums! As others have said already, there really is no wrong way to play. That's a big part of what makes SDV so great in my opinion I hope you enjoy your time here and learn some new stuff!
