It has been almost 2 years since I delved down to floor 11,187. The descent to floor 11,187 was amazing however it made me restless. This restless came from making a promise I made myself to beat this record again once 1.6 dropped. Such promise made it difficult for me to shake it off which has slightly affected me (not that bad except for modding which I restricted myself from doing once I finish certain imposed challenges). To prepare myself this run I did runs of going to floor 100 at 6AM as a benchmark on how fast I'm delving as well as doing endurance runs in other games mainly warframe and risk of rain 2 to help strengthen the feel and mindset of doing endurance runs.

Anyways I feel this self imposed challenge lifting away from me. I can finally see the clear blue sky. I don't think I may do another endurance run delving deep in the caverns as I want to focus on other things. I've never been happier than ever beating the record, but my fingers were pretty much begging for mercy from me pause buffering too fast. I have never felt my hands were on fire when pause buffering not even the descent to 11k made me felt like this.

The floor number itself. It's beautiful

And for the people who wonder what is on 11188, I am sorry to disappoint. There was nothing special on that floor except me briefly, an armored bug, a serpent and a big fat dinosaur. No I did not see ConcernedApe or whatever figure or anything else you hoped to wish you'd see there

Just to be 103,000% clear, this requires you to pause buffer 12,284 times?

That is insane. But cool!

Well done and of course this clears up why most players can never find enough iridium, it's all partying on the quintuple-digit floors with the local reptile population.
Oh absolutely. Worse when the hands felt like they were on fire too along with dealing with time itself too

That is fabulous achievement.
If you delve such a hole in real life, you would have traversed to another side of earth.
Then I could come visit you on your birthday! Well that's what they told us as kids, you keep digging that hole and you'll end up on the other side of the planet, in China!

So I kept digging.

I never made it.

I will find bubble tea locally I guess.

Hahaha I heard a story when I was young.
if I dig vertically into the ground persistently, I can get to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
we can meet up there and I will treat you a cup of real handmade bubble tea

Keep our appointment up on your to-do list. 🤣🤣🤣
