Did you recently upgrade to the v1.6 version of Stardew? There were a lot of dialog changes added in the current version, especially for the Festival and town events as many (all??) of them now have 2 separate sets of dialog for Year 1, 3, 5... and 2, 4, 6... and sometimes map and Villager location changes. If this was Year 3, you would have gotten Year 2 dialog last year and way back in Year 1 you might not have had enough with Seb yet. Or if this is Year 4 then the same, but shift everything 1 year later.

on my other saved files where I married Sam, he also said a new dialogue when he was playing skateboard on his half pipe but I didn't read it thoroughly since I thought it gonna be the same old "sigh, I will never do it" or something. the new dialogue talk about prize (that's the only word I saw cause it was a long dialogue lol)

I never update my stuff, I just don't know how to do it lol. maybe it's auto update???

Almost all of these will auto-update SDV, the only one that doesn't is from GOG.com for PC/Mac if you used the standalone installer (not many people do this) (but I'm one of those weirdo peoples).

I'm also someone who turns my updates off, helps when Baldurs gate (which I definitely have not been procrastinating playing for the last year) gets another amazing 10 gb update I'm too scared to play
