Penny has always felt a little neglected to me. Part of the issue, I think, is that she in particular wants the family angle, but she ends up no different from any of the other spouses in that regard, and her 14-heart event ends up feeling a bit bland by comparison. Everyone else is going for their dreams and such, like going on a book tour, whereas Penny settles for redecorating a room?
What I'd really like is to shift her current 14 heart event to a 12-heart event, and add a new 14-heart event.
The event? After you have 2 children, she comes to you and admits that while she's happy as things currently stand, she'd really like to have a BIG family, and if you agree, a few days later she admits she's pregnant again - and then a few weeks after, she gives birth - to TWINS!
That becomes her unique end state; four children running around, instead of 2. You automatically get bunk beds instead of the standard child beds, and a very full house!
I think this would really suit her character and life aspirations better, and in the aftermath she might confess to being tired but really, really satisfied with her life, as she has everything she's ever dreamed of.
