New crops, fruit and nut trees

I have some crops, fruit and nut trees I would love to see added. I wrote next to some a related dish.

Crop ideas:

• Spring: asparagus (roasted asparagus), onion (onion soup), broccoli, carrot, spinach.
• Summer: watermelon (sliced watermelon), cucumber (pickles).
• Fall: carrot, peanut (peanut butter).

Fruit tree ideas:

• Summer: date tree (fits with the new beach/desert farm), fig tree.
• Fall: olive tree (olive oil).

Nut tree ideas:

• Fall: chestnut tree (roasted chestnuts), hazelnut tree, pecan tree, walnut tree, almond tree. All nuts can be used to make butters and nut milks.

I like the ideas specially the diferent kind of nuts for making milks and butters and the Olive oil, coming from Spain I would love to have those ^^

I really hope watermelon and carrot are added in the game eventually! Watermelon can have their own giant variation!

This. Just because the poll asking players for tree choice included passion fruit doesn't mean we should include it as a tree... though it may be coming still. There was a suggestion that even the second place in that poll could possibly be coming. Who knows?

I always found it a bit odd how the one vegetable that everyone makes pickles out of, cucumber, isn't a crop in the game. And carrots are shown in the artwork for the Spring Crops Bundle, but they're also not a crop that you can actually grow. Carrot cake and carrot salad, maybe? A common salad made with carrots is a carrot and raisin salad, so that could be a recipe made using a carrot and a grape. As for broccoli recipes, how about a broccoli casserole? As for cooking oils, if peanuts were to be implemented, then peanut oil is another common cooking oil.

Nope. Maybe you're thinking of artichoke or amaranth? Those start with the same letter and are about as long.

Passion fruit can still be added - I'm totally in favor of it. But if we're going for realism, it should be as a regular crop - probably a trellis crop - instead of a tree.

Probably a long shot, but why not add hemp too while we're on the subject? It could be planted like grass starter and be spun into cloth with the loom.

I wanna bring this back to the top. I have a few ideas/suggestions myself!

• Bell peppers, all the colors!
• Multiple types of squash
• Sugarcane that we can make white or brown sugar from
• Spinach, various lettuces & other leafy greens
• Other grains, like quinoa

I might be blanking on some, but it's only because it's almost 5:30 AM here and I haven't gone to bed yet. I'm sure others have more to add.
