Windows Mysterious Mr. Qi quest bugged

So I got the go-ahead to start doing the quest and began putting things into places Mr. Qi wanted. I was kinda confused because it didnt consume the items when I tried to use them but was thinking that doesnt matter. That is until I got to my logpile and tried to get the pass from there. There is no question mark(there was not one in any of the locations for the quest) and Im unable to interact with it. Not sure what to do.
There seemed to be no question mark in any other quest either, but they worked just fine, like for example placing leeks into Evelyns fridge, putting trash into the bin for Linus etc.

Version: v1.6.15 build 24356
Couldnt find an error log on my save at all
Im using PC
Game language is english
Singleplayer
Using keyboard/mouse

You seem to be mixing up different quests.
The ones with the question mark (like putting leeks in Evelyn’s fridge or collect trash for Linus) are unrelated to Mr. Qi, they come from the quest board grow the mayors house and have their own reward.

You have already completed the Mysterious Mr. Qi quest and have the club card in your wallet. You can just go to the casino and speak to the person blocking your way, and he’ll let you in.

Oh my god, you are right! I was confused because my character didnt do the animation of obtaining the card. but thats probably because I took like a year long break or something and forgot I had aquired the card but never used it, and the messages still being available confused me! By the question marks I meant like, there is usually a question mark on things if you need to deposit things. But I havent seen any in any type of quests. Cant remember if Qi quests have question marks like the other ones. Or is that a thing of the past, the question marks?
Anyway, thank you so much for clearing this silly thing up for me! Should I just delete this post?

I think the Qi ones never had the question mark because it’s a riddle you’re supposed to solve, so that might make it too obvious.

The other ones I think I’ve also noticed the lack of question marks sometimes, but I play on different devices and always think it’s a version difference. So no idea if that has changed for all versions.

You can delete the post if you want, or leave it so somebody else having a similar issue might find it. The mods can mark it as solved.
