Android Mummies and auto attack bug

I was in Skull cavern, got to a floor with around 8 or more mummies, well I got backed into some rocks and couldn't get away because my auto attack was on. I would break a mummy, but even with my napalm ring I couldn't just blow it up, so one would break, another would rise back up and I couldn't switch to my pick axe, unselect the sword, or go to the menu. I had to just close out of the game entirely or end up dying.

This is super annoying. It also makes it hard to place bombs near them.
What you can do is switch off auto attack, break the rocks to get away and switch it back on.
