Switch Multiplayer Online for Stardew

Today me and my friend were trying to log into our farm and play right. Well it started to say cannot connect to other console(s) please try again later. it’s been doing this for the last 2 days and we have tried everything. like restarting our switches and wifi. deleting and redownloading the game. nothing will work. which is weird because we had been playing together already before this and was working perfectly fine. we have 13 hours of playtime together on this farm already and now it’s randomly not wanting to work.

I actually have the same problem with my friend on Ps5. We played like a few days together on our farm and then randomly decided it can't connect. I am a tech for a bank here in the northwest and I deal with service tickets daily. We have power cycled and uninstalled to no avail. Please don't let me have to explain to my friend how to adjust mtu for their Router/modem. Please network engineer God's if you read this and feel like being a hero. Please answer this prayer.

Similarities:
Ps5 consoles Disc version
System software: 24.08-10.40.00.07-00.00.00.0.1
Stardew version: 1.64

NP - Xfinity / Orbital Internet (local to Arizona area)

Possible issue with mtu? Please let me know really want to play with my friend.

wow i had to look up what an mtu was just now lol. i have no idea me and my friend figured it was just a bug or something? because it’s just stardew valley multiplayer that didn’t want to work other games we’re working. i have no idea and it really makes me sad. 😭

I'd rather not have to setup port forwarding. I will check on the starting the game in co-op from title. Both of us have the same version of Stardew. I don't like the fact that we have already played together on our farm for like 8 hours already.
