Switch Multiplayer cabin mail broken

My friend and I have been playing on a farm since switch got 1.6, and now her mail won’t progress past Robin advertising the house upgrade. We’ve quit the game and come back, she’s closed and reopened the game, I’ve played alone before her coming back. It’s still stuck on Robin.
I want to say it was after I moved her cabin (as I saw some others had the problem after moving the cabin) but honestly I don’t remember exactly.
Obviously, she’s missing out on a lot of mail because of this, and I’d like to fix it if we can.

EDIT: The issue seemed to be fixed when we upgraded her house. Although some others are saying they tried that and it didn’t work. But currently our problem is solved

Me and my wife are having the same issue on PC split-screen. we've even upgraded her house and downloaded a mod for the mailbox view and didn't fix it. sadly didn't work.

I am also having this same issue on multiplayer but I play on Xbox. I upgraded me house twice already and my mailbox is just stuck on the first upgrade mail from Robin. It's very frustrating and has been like this for a little over a week now.

I'm having the exact same issue on PC. It's the same mail from Robin, and I have no idea what started it. Hopefully it can be fixed soon because it's really set me back in the game.

I'm having the same issue with my multiplayer partner on PC. His mailbox gets stuck with Robin's mail and he can't progress in the game at all. Mods please help fix this!

My wife and I are also experiencing the same problem on Switch. Any fixes yet?

Update: I sat by the mailbox and open and closed it really fast a bunch of times. Fixed the issue and I got a whole bunch of mail. Actually happened a second time with another letter. I used the same tactic and it fixed it again. Hope this helps someone!
