Moving fencing in iOS

I swear I was able to move fencing using my axe not too long ago, but now I can’t. Can anyone tell me how to move/remove stone fencing while on mobile/iOS version please?

You can only pick up a fence post that's in good condition. If it has worn down (and they do), all you can do is chop it up and place a new one where you want it.

Yeah like only in the first day of placing it down. After that they just get destroyed when placing unless you have clock.
