I've set myself the goal of collecting a 999 stack of every item; partly because I'm a (gaming) hoarder, part to have a reason to continue past year 3 or 4 after I've gotten all the big ticket items. At year 8 its becoming tedious with not a lot to do beyond processing kegs and jars etc., hunting worms, and the occasional trip to the mines. I'd like to see more things to do imperpetuity.

Gifts: Once people have reached 10 hearts there's no reason to continue gifting them. It'd be cool if giving more gifts triggered receiving more gifts. I really liked seeing people about town yelling out Hi! and such with speech ballowns; but going and talking to them didn't seem to have anything else new and different; although I do appreciate the new dialogue I've not seen before. Also for the Help Wanted sign. It might also be nice to post to the help wanted for items you'd like to purchase for double the going rate.

Events: I'd like to be able to replay or re-trigger event scenes without having to start a new game to see them. Maybe take the person whose scene you want to see to the theater and select a home movies option? Add Concert and Art Show to the calendar? Also, I'd like to see more of fat squirrel and the bear. (Random food begging? Rainy days at the bus stop?) (Weekly maypul syrup offerings at the shrine gets the bear to move in and keep the place slime free?)

Secret Shrine: Leaving various offerings could trigger a variety of minor events: fairy, witch, train, flying saucer, meteor, animal birth, junimo dance, etc. Cool, new, cutesy scenes with good -> bad effects depending on how well Yoba liked your offering? Maybe, after you've acquired all the stardrops, trigger an event which allows each of your junimo huts to produce a stardrop seed that takes all year to grow or they get a small chance to harvest a starfruit as a stardrop (a non-stat enhancing version but still gives the cut scene).

Date Night: Weekly activities with your spouse. (Camping with Emily, Slime hunting / Video gaming with Abigail, Midnight spa / Library with Penny, Motorbike ride with Sebastian, Deep Sea fishing with Elliot (or just be able to borrow the boat for deep sea fishing), etc, maybe some generic ones like dinner and a movie.) As it is, its 'Good-morning' and kiss then stay out until I pass out keeps her happy.

Boat Ride: Row Boat (Idyllic) / River Raft (party) / Canoe/Kayak (rapids); starting at the mountain lake following the river through town and the forest to the big field.

Sleep-Over: If you get caught out late on the wrong part of the map, stay over at a boy/girl friends, then cut-scene walk of shame back home in the early a.m.

Forest Magic: More magical options would be kind of cool.
Junimo Companion: A special ritual at the Wizards or Secret Wood, or magic item that allow you to have (summon temporarily, like a food bonus) junimo companion who'll do things like rummage trash cans, shake trees, find (dig up?) worms, glittering gold river deposits (I miss so many worms and glitter spots, a little help would be nice); while you ride by.
Berry Ritual: Ritual magic at the Wizards tower to make Salmon-/Black- berry bushes fruit on the next day, in season, outside the usual 4 days.
Healthy Forest Ritual: next day, all growing trees advance 1 stage and tappers fill up.
Fungus Ritual: Every level in the mines is a "Mushroom Level"
Curses: Befriend the witch and learn some combat curses or gain an attack wand (easier to use than a slingshot, what a pain. I've only used it to egg people on my Joja playthrough.)
Water Breathing; learn from the mer-people to go on a (repeatable?) deep sea adventure.
Earth Magic: from the Dwarves for better mining (more ore, gems, geodes, prismatic shards, greatly improved odds for iridium nodes at low levels in skull mountain so I don't have to stock up on stair cases and wait for a great luck day.)
Yoba Ring should be "the item" for fighting ghosts and skeletons. Get it blessed at the secret shrine? or town church? Maybe Shane gets religion and becomes town preacher once he's on the wagon?

Iridium Crops: Would be nice to get these in iridium quality as well. Maybe 1% at level 10 farming, with worthwhile increases for item boosted farming levels? Wild bait crab-pots for higher quality?

Community Center: Currently no reason to visit once its completed.
Birthday parties with a gifts table. Player birthday, even if its fixed for your programming conveience. A yearly scheduled doctors visit too (I remember Harvey mentioning it.)(Cut scene and a lollipop?).
Monthly Potluck Dinner: Everyone brings a food item for the smorgasboard. A card table for bridge and pinochle (adults) or hearts and spades (youngsters). Billiards at Gus's would be cool too.
Veteran's Day: for Kent, George (back in the day), Willy (a Navy man), maybe Harvey (GI Bill for his education?, maybe Maru is considering same to pay for college?)

This was all I can remember for now.

This post was prismatic shard quality.
1. Completely agree with it getting lackluster after you get all the npcs to full hearts. I too would love to see more in depth dialogue between all characters.
2. Date night sounds really fun! I'm all for seeing new cutscene involving my favorite spouse Sam :sam: :hlevel:.
3. Junimo companion made me think of those rare jellies in the mines with little stars on their heads! :junicheer: Maybe Rasmo could conjure one of those up :D.
4. Witch, mermaids, and Yoba definitely need to be expanded on!!

I agree that the end game needs a big update, I find it hard to even get through my 2nd winter after I've finished the community center and the movie theater.

Villagers with max hearts: I agree that they need new dialog. Friendship decay should continue, but you can continue to get friendship points even after you've hit max hearts. Special quest posts that require multiple items or crafted items like a special shirt or dish so you have to work harder for them, they should still give friendship points but double the money.

Community center: New end game quests/bundles should open up when you've finished the community center, every room should have one.
Garden: Evelyn could ask you to plant a garden outside in the fenced area or maybe grow a giant crop. Reward: A 9x9 sprinkler and maybe she could give you a recipe for even better fertilizer that increase the chance of giant crops.
Kitchen: Gus could have bundles for the different dishes with skill boosts. Rewaard: ?
Vault room: Maybe this is here you can upgrade the town instead of at Robin's, so build Pam and Penny's house, restore the spa which looks very old and used, build a house for the Governor and his wife, he says at the Luau that he wants a vacation home in Stardew Valley, so follow up on that and introduce them as new NPC's for the late game, maybe even with kids/grandkids that comes visit them 4 weeks a year and are new marriage candidates.

That's all I could think of right now.
