PlayStation Monster Slayer not completing...

I've completed the moster Slayer list, and got the achievement pop op. All monsters are marked with a * in Gills lidt, but in Mr Qi's list, in his room on Ginger island, its says "No" to monster Slayer completed... I've tried relogging, coming back another day, killing some mosters, but nothing works... Guess I cant get perfection then. I only lack the Golden Clock, but hardly seems worth going for it, when I cant perfection... Hope for a bug fix.

Me and my husband are having the same problem on both of our separate games loads also with this we box use the Xbox

Oh look, yet another problem. More and more I'm happy I shelved this broken and buggy game for the time being. Hopefully sometime soon Eric can find a new porting studio who knows what the **** they're doing. But until then, guess we're stuck yet again... waiting for the better part of another goddamn year

seems console versions have more bugs than Steam
I originally played this game on Nintendo Switch over 200 hours
I was thrilled becasue I unlocked Ginger island.
Unfortunately my Switch was lost in metro and I didn't have Nintendo memebership.
I was really inconsolable and dejected at the moment.
And I played Xenoblade2 over 200 hours and Zelda breath of the wild 750+ hours!
I couldn't recollect other games when I was at home.
I just sat on the floor and looked at my Pikachu travel bag of my lost Switch.

Then I started to play the game in Steam after I bought a new laptop with 4080 graphic chip in late 2024.
I was scolded by my wife drastically becasue it looks lavish but I don't care as I love to play this game with an Xbox controller.
Now I still relish the day and night playing the game.
And Eric is my idol as a indie game developer.
I expect I can make a game like Stardew Valley in near future.

I do not understand why this buddy is so cranky then.

I may have found the solution. I used the yellow bird to buy the 2 last Golden walnuts. When I was done with the monster Slayer achievement, I was still missing to secret notes from Ginger Island. When I found them, and read them, the monster Slayer stat in Qi's list turn to "yes".
