Mods not Updating

I've downloaded SVE and Lux's Sprite Mod and they're not updating. I've downloaded the newest versions and extracted into the mods file, but the messege of able to update still appears. Tried deleting and redownloading but that doesn't work either.

I checked the manifest file (the one that indicates which version you have), and it's the correct version. So, you must be downloading the wrong version.

SVE worked Sprite didn't.

That’s really not possible—the manifest file shows the correct version number. Could you send a screenshot of the manifest.json file from Your Lux's Sprite Mod so I can check which version you downloaded?

Respectfully... what? You have the correct version number, so SMAPI shouldn't be telling you that you need an update.
Do you maybe have two versions of Lux's Sprite Mod in your mods folder?

No, I don't. Double checked to make sure and it still says it can update.

Well, looks like I found the problem.

This is the version that keeps asking for an update. Delete it, and the message should stop appearing.
