Mod updating help

Hi I’m back again and confused. Like before I’m new to playing with mods so this will be my first time going through updates and first I need to update smapi and I want to do everything correctly. So can someone walk me through it and also updating individual mods please I’m desperate lol.

SMAPI has instructions on their website. Just download the newest version, and SMAPI will handle the rest—simply follow the prompts.
For individual mods, it depends on where you got them. Most likely, they’re from Nexus, so just download the latest version, place it in your Mods folder as usual, and when asked, click 'Replace.' That’s it!
If you got some mods from GitHub, the steps are the same. When you load SMAPI, it usually also tells you where to download each mod from.
