Mod just disappeared

I was playing my game today after some time.and when i launched the game,the mod was gone


The only thing i remembered was an update that took place when i opened my steam


Is there something not right?because my friend setted the game up for me some time ago

Its very disappointing to lose a mod (and i was married to Flor)


He installed the Ridgeside Village mod for me

Any suggestions to fix the problem?or must i start a new game?

Check for your mods here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods

If it’s empty, you’ll need to redownload them—ask your friends for the mod list.
If your mods are there, you might need to update SMAPI.

Because it is kind of odd how my Ridgeside Village mod just stopped working

Do i need to redownload SMAPI or what is the way to update it?im just asking

Smapi is really easy to install/update just follow the instructions on the site

Because i forgot to tell you that im playing Stardew Valley on Steam

The SMAPI installation process is still the same, as is the mod location I mentioned in my previous message.
