Is SMAPI still the go-to for installing mods? I've used it for years, but I think Mod Organizer 2 can also install SDV mods. I use MO2 for my other modded games and I was curious if anyone has experience using it for SDV.

So many framework mods like Content Patcher need SMAPI as a base that I doubt it will work the same; you could load non-SMAPI mods but they are the definite minority. And IIRC, SMAPI is updated by the same people who build a lot of the frameworks, so it's doubtful they will be migrated.
