Mobile Dog Glitch

Why does Marnie keep bringing my dog? 4 times she has brought me the same dog. Each time I adopt him and name him George. It's the first summer. I've played dozens of farms on ipad and my android phone and this has never happened before. Nothing else in the game seems glitchy. Why isn't George staying?

I would suspect it's because the name "George" already exists in-game (Evelyn's husband). I would try a different name.

That is the correct solution as that has happened before to others, with a horse named haley I believe, if not here then the discord.
