Windows Missing cat

Even with the newest update my friends and I are still missing the cat on our farm. It was there when we added a third person to the game but when the next day started it was gone. No sounds on the farm from the cat, water bowl is always filled and we even moved all of our furniture just to make sure is wasn't glitched in anything

While the recent update fixed the problem that caused pets to disappear to begin with, it is impossible to restore those pets since all their information was wiped from the save. The only thing you can really do is adopt a new cat from Marnie (assuming you are in year 2 or later)
