When I leveled up to mining level 10 I was not able to pick a profession. As soon as I hit the left joystick it kicked me out of the menu, saved and started the next day. When I look into my skills menu I am at level 10 mining just without the profession, even when I scroll over the level 10 bar it shows nothing.
Some info: I am playing on my Dell laptop, and I have my Nintendo switch controller configured to Steam, which is what I was using when this glitch happened. I chose miner as a profession earlier on so I had the choice between blacksmith and prospector. Game version: 1.5.6 | In-game language is English and it was in single-player.
Edit: the next day when I went to bed it gave me the option to pick between blacksmith and prospector and I was able to pick this time! Glad to know that there is a fail safe!
