Switch micro-freeze/stuttering and bug with apostrophes

hi , by putting a hat on the cat the game stutters like in the video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4R1tA7BuzA ). There is also a problem with apostrophes in the game (item, notification at the bottom left and the signs giving quests in town) it makes a rectangle like in the attached image.
