Merfolk

During the Luau, Rasmodeus mentions the merfolk and how they don't appreciate when we pollute, but we don't have much more than the knowledge that they exist. It would be nice if there was more on them we could explore, maybe some kind of water breathing and maybe a translation spell from Rasmodeus would allow us to interact with them (maybe even have romanceable NPCs of either gender?) and get to know them.

There‘s a mermaid at ginger island and at the night market, plus the sea creature you can find at the ocean sometimes and at krobus’s 14 heart event, all could be merfolk or other water dwelling creatures of Stardew Valley
