Hi y'all so I am having a problem where whenever I open my mailbox the letter gets stuck on the screen and I can't exit no matter what I do and I can only exit if I alt F4 out the game. the problem it that the Letter is one I've already received and read. I also tried all I could think of from changing the mod the letter comes from or going back to a save and loading it to the day I would've received the duped letter. I also know what mod is causing the issue and it the More New Fish mod by TrentXV.
the letter is for the quest in year 3 fall 2 to give the wizard a soul trapper from the witches swamp. I then receive the duplicate letter the next day on fall 3 and it gets stuck on the screen and whenever I try to click enter or escape it jitters left and up leaving shadow frames of the letter then goes back to the center of the screen.
I know it not a problem with the Mod cause I made a new save with only the mod and it's dependencies along with CJB Cheats menu to change time and it doesn't have the duping problem like in my modded game.
This is on windows 11 home
