Hi all,
I'm reluctant to post because I'm not trying to self promote and don't want to give the wrong impression, but thought it would help a few people here getting started with animation cancelling. I have an app I developed on macOS, that's standalone and doesn't require AHK or other resources.
It has a slider for you to adjust the delay yourself, or bind your own hotkey (default is middle click/scrollwheen click)
This has the upside that holding down the hotkey, will repeat the animation cancel until the button is released. It's similar to a click & hold left-click but with the speed of auto-cancelling each swing of a tool.
Works for swing tools and weapons. Not advised for things like fishing rods or anything that requires a long-click/long-press.
Currently only works on macOS as the title suggests. If needed for windows, please use the github issues tab or respond here. Hope someone else can find it useful.
I'm releasing this code open source too so others can learn from it if interested or submit PRs.
Cheers.
