Heya,
I just wanted to suggest a change for the output calculation that would feel more rewarding and not punishing to put crops into the e.g. dehydrator with any quality above base.
For example (no specific crop, just for making an easy calculation) lets take a base price of 10. (The others don't matter anyway)
Instead of 10% for tiller we just take +5% as a bonus for balancing reasons.
The dehydrator calculation is currently 7.5 × fruit base price +25g
Instead maybe this would be better: 7.5 x (Fruit base price + quality bonus + 5% profession bonus) + 25g
Quality bonuses are:
Silver: 10%
Gold: 25%
Iridium: 50%
So the results would be for dried crops:
Base 7.5 x (10+5%) +25g = 103,75 = 104g
Silver 7.5 x (10+10%+5%) +25g = 111,25 = 111g
Gold 7.5 x (10+25%+5%) +25g = 122,5 = 123g
Iridium 7.5 x (10+50%+5%) +25g = 141,25 = 141g
For the other machinesI would suggest to replace the "base price" in the equation with "base price + quality bonus" to at least get something. You can tweak the numbers if these are still to high of course, but getting absolutely nothing feels wrong and broken as it is now, in my opinion.
I feel like this change wouldn't break the balance or make other more valuable products less worth making but feel better to throw in crops with higher quality.
Kind regards.
