Windows Lucky purple shorts usage in Advanced iridium rod inconsistency

GoudaQuiche

Cowpoke
When using both a bobber/spinner with Lewis shorts in an advanced iridium rod, the obber gets protected and the visual bobber is transformed into the pants.

The issue is , sometimes, depending on the order I put the 2 items inside the rod, the secondary bobber does not get protected.
What is the right order ? pants then bobber or bobber then pants ? This should work whatever the order is or it feels inconsistent. I have used this rod and combo a lot of times and I still fail to make it work 100% of the time because there is no way to properly check.

If the visual clue when the bobber showed the pants when it is protected, it would help identifying it does not work. Or make it work 100% of the time whenever pants are in the mix.

Another midly annoying thing : if I use the pants in that combo, I lose the ability to have random bobbers displayed each time I cast.
