Windows Lost watering can!

Lost my watering can somehow :( sad times
This is like my millionth save so I know a few ways to cheat it back in if it doesn’t turn up but more curious anyone got any suggestions where it could have gone?
I’ve checked Marlon’s, Clint’s at the blacksmith and lost and found box.
Quite early on in the game so no fridge or auto grabbers yet so not there.
Any ideas?

Early game, because the inventory is so small I put chests in a lot of locations and then forget them, especially near fishing spots and the mine, but also on the farm sometimes.

have you checked all chests?

Is your cat using it as a new bed box?

Honestly as with ereo, I often forget random tools in random chests all over the place?
