lost an entire season of progress

i uninstalled steam cause it was making the game glitch like crazy and when i saved the game and left i was on fall 22th year 3 (aprox) and when i installed it and went back i was on summer 13th of the same year? i lost a dinosaur egg and i know its not that much progress but i want it back :( pls tell me if i can fix it somehow

i crossposted this on reddit and they told me that it should be on steam cloud storage but i dont have any backups

If you don’t have any backups on steam nor backups to a hard drive then you’re probably at a loss. You can try searching in your %appdata% stardew saves folder to see if you have the original save that’s not showing up for some reason.

Whenever you uninstall a game ALWAYS remember to make sure steam cloud has an updated version and even better make a copy yourself and store it somewhere it won’t be affected by the uninstall.
I’ve lost my fair share of game progress because of forgetting to do so.

i do have the original save but its stuck in summer, and ive checked the steam achievements and the new ones arent showing up so yeah, i probably cant fix it.
