Android Lost all game progress!

I lost all of my game progress when I got a new android phone. I uploaded all of my apps before shutting down the old phone, but my game was not saved. How do I fix this? Please help! I was so far along with so many resources and farming systems in place.

All you did was transfer your apps NOT the save data. You should check your other apps too. As for Stardew, look for the save folder "StardewValley" it should have all your saves there. You can try a search. If you have your old phone then you might be able to find it, as long as you didn't wipe (erase) the phone clean.

I made a new save file, however it's still not showing up. I think I know what I have to do. Attach my phone to my computer and put the saved file in the Stardew Valley app that way. My android won't allow me access to the actual app data unless it's on a computer.

If you're sure you're looking in the right location (see the thread linked above), there might be a way to unhide data on your phone as well.

Did you resolve your problem?

Important Advice: Always make backups of your saves, no matter the device/system. (ex. copy the save folder to Google Drive (personal file host), a flash drive, sd card, separate hard drive or disc).

Type of phone: Samsung S24 utra

Lost all my save files after my phone had a software update. I can still continue my progress in the game but I can't find my save files anymore. I even tried starting a new farm hoping that the other save files will appear but even my new farm is not showing up. So if my game crash and deletes all my farms, I will lose all my progress and have to start from zero again. 😫

Attached is a screenshot of an empty folder of where the save files are supposed to be.
