It was a multiplayer game I started with friends recently on the new beach farm, there were 3 of us. I was the host and haven't played without them. We got to Summer 7 or something on year one. Today, while we were playing, my internet went out and they were kicked from the game. I didn't know what to do, so I stayed put in the game. When my internet turned back on, I tried to reconnect from inside the game I was still just waiting in back into multiplayer. A window "Connecting..." popped up and I decided to wait for a few minutes. But nothing changed after about 5 minutes, and I tried again. I realize now that maybe I should've waited more, but I was panicking at the moment. So I quit to the title without saving for the day, since I didn't want to make my friends lose all the progress for the day while I saved mine. So I tried to go back into co-op from that save. It's all foggy to me now, but I remember briefly seeing the black "Saving..." screen and... I woke up on Spring 1 with my house upgraded (by coincidence, on the next day of Summer my first house upgrade should've finished) with my Zoom and UI settings completely reset and all of the items and chests i put/bought for my house gone. All my relationships and ongoing quests stayed in place, however. I walked out of the house and was greeted by Marnie's cutscene with the pet. When I got to choose the pet name, it automatically showed me the previous one I actually used on the pet. The farm was completely reset to how it was on the day one of any new save. Now any time I go into this save, singleplayer or co-op, it only shows Spring 1 with everything but relationships and quests gone. I'm really sad about losing all the progress because we worked hard on that farm. Could it somehow be restored or there's no way?

Did you try reloading the previous day's *_old save file? It should be in %AppData%/StardewValley/Saves and then look for the folder for your game, and there's the name of the farm and then some numbers and another file with the same name that says _old at the end. Move or remove the save with the numbers and then rename the _old file by taking the _old part off so that the game loads that one instead. That's the file from the day before. Sorry if this is confusing, I haven't had my coffee today. Hope it works!
