Solved Losing gems when moving Crystalariums

In the Wiki it says... "Once a gem or mineral has been inserted into the Crystalarium, it can be retrieved at any time by removing the Crystalarium with a tool."

This work on the xbox and on breaking I get the gem and the crystalarium. But on my tablet, I lose the gem. Do I have to use a specific tool? I think I've tried my axe and pickaxe and all I get is the Crystalarium.

Just wondering if it's an Android glitch or I'm doing something wrong.

so its not a glitch and the feature was added in 1.5,, god i hope it wasn't a giant amount of gems you deleted out of that save. actually don't tell me i think i'll cry

Ah I see - I guess I just need to wait for the update to come to Android then. I've lost quite a few gems - mostly jade as I was generating tons of jade to make staircases for the skull cavern - but now I'm generating diamonds and want to change the layout so I can cram more crystalariums in - just being a bit OCD to be honest.
