Creator Response Limitless Inventory while at the farm (idea/suggestion)

Would it be a fair leap of logic to allow players to ignore inventory limits during the season phase until the planning phase where they must distribute and discard stuff before able to leave the farm? It just seems a bit strange that a crop could harvest that you could, for example, put straight into the trade bin, yet might have to make space for it by discarding. I don't expect this to be clarified as a rule, and of course I'm free to play it myself as a variant, but wondered if this would be considered worthy of consideration in theoretical revision discussions.

Hm that is a good question. I don't think it would break anything? Just remove some pressure when these types of things occasionally happen. I think it was not included this way because it introduces another rule which is minor and rare, but it makes total sense if you want to play it that way!

Thank you for the enabling. I figured the same that it adds another thing to a rulebook already buzzing with things!

In solo play the inventory can be extra cramped so it has affected me in play. In multi play it would be less common but imagine the season card operator occasionally being full and not being able to distribute to other players so having to discard.
