So, on previous farms I've leaned pretty heavily on glow rings, but this go around I'm finding I actually like how dark it gets at night and the distinct shift in atmosphere when the farmer isn't radiating the intensity of a miniature sun everywhere they go. I'm putting out torches in my farm and along common pathways and noticing little additional lighting effects that I seem to have forgotten about, and finding a patch of fireflies at night in summer is way more fun.

Are there any noteworthy little differences in lighting effects for all the various braziers and things, or does it all just boil down to radius? Anything people like to do with lighting for fun? I think I'm still looking for a little more inspiration to keep this new farm fresh and different.

It's all about radius so far as I know.

I like putting braziers in the center of a square made of lightning rods. I call them lightning rod arrays.

I like putting torches behind things. The winter star tree in town, and the giant wooden bear statue, look like they are glowing.
