Switch Legendary fish lost from inventory at 1:50am

• This issue seems to be happening to a bit of people. I caught the mutant carp in the sewer at 1:50am and passed out a few steps after the successful catch. The next morning the Mutant Carp was not in my inventory but my achievement history said “1” was caught. Based on others have experienced there’s no way to physically get it back. Is there anything to remedy this bug? Thank you!!

• I’m assuming I can’t upload a Switch save profile.
• Switch - Controller - Single Player - English - No Error Text
