Switch Lag when talking to villagers

I’ve noticed that there is a lag when I click to speak to a villager - pre 1.6 I could do this instantly but now it is taking two clicks even when I am standing right beside them/I am in their path

I’ve notice a lot of lag as well since updating. It’s like the “camera” will get stuck while walking around then my farmer jumps forward.
