Solved Key to town not work after an event?

Hey first time posting something but I don't know if this is a bug or something the game does but,
After the winter fishing event on the 8th i went to lewis house it was locked yet i have the key to the town i check pierre and also locked, this is Ver1.6.9.40 on Switch

I don't think that's a glitch, I think that was coded into the game on purpose
