Right when the 1.6 update came out, the forums EXPLODED with bug reports. They just exploded. Does this happen every time an update is released?

Yes, a tripling of visitors and loads of bug reports. v1.6 for PC/Mac was like that and v1.5 for mobile. I don't remember v1.5 for PCs as that was relatively soon after the Forums creation.
