joja took over community center!?

i had just finished the community center and about 1 days after the jojamart came and said some stuff i didnt read it cuz well- i didnt really care what they had to say but i chose the CC (community center) path and had never been in the joja store like- the entire game so i was unsure what was happening then after that i whent to the CC and it was like all joja stuff like some sort of warehouse? PLEASE HELP ME!!! T-T

Well, this is actually curious. The community center is supposed to take this form when you do something specific inside Joja (which I won't mention because of spoiler alerts) but you mentioned that you never went there at any point.

Even in the event where Morris appears in the community center, it doesn't give any option to continue affiliating with Joja and delete the progress made with the CC.

Have you tried to restart the game without saving it?

Did the community center ceremony happen before it changed?

Did you go into the Joja store when "the jojamart came and said some stuff"? Or did they send a letter?

Are you using mods?

I can think of two places in the vanilla game where the Jojamart guy shows up and says stuff; one is a scene in Pierre's you probably got a while ago.. The other is where he shows up IN the Community Centre and that's the community centre completion scene; Jojamart is finished and you mostly get to decide if you and the town are polite about it or forceful. To go the Joja Route you have to go into the Jojamart and make a conscious choice.

Unless you're playing a modded game, and even then, you'd probably know if you picked a mod that would let Jojamart mess with you, since you have to choose the mods you play with.
