I don’t know if it’s been suggested yet, but as an avid enthusiast of Edo period Japan and Ming/Qing dynasty China, it would be enthralling to see not only options for buildings to resemble the architectural style of those eras but also for animals and possibly crops of that sort. Currently there is rice, and a way to produce noodle dishes. But making noodles, having bamboo shoots and more tea types, even such things like pandas and giant salamanders would be amazing. It could be like the recently added Fern Islands, where Willy or a new NPC allows you to travel to an Asian-inspired Island with quests and the above-mentioned features. It could be very much like Ginger Island, and Bamboo could be used to have new tools.
