when I tried to use remote play together to play Stardew Valley with my friends, Strangely steam overlay didn't open. but I could open it in the other games in steam. however, now I know how to use it in Mac.
1.open the game.
2.right-click steam app(from the dock bar), and click 'friends' section. then you'll get steam overlay.
3.click game controller icon and invite friends to the game!
