Spring 23 year 5. Journey of the Prairie King is complete, and 0 deaths.

Tips:

Only 1 level per day
Do early in the day with the key to the town in hand
restart the day if you ever die even once
learn the patterns of the bosses
get good at aiming and dodging
get as many coins and power up as possible, and prioritize damage then fire rate. I had 1-2-2 from left to right by the end.
if playing on Steam, know which arrow keys on your keyboard do not work with certain combinations due to manufacturing faults common in all keyboards (for mine, I can't shoot Northeast and move left or right at the same time or vice versa, but I can shoot NE and move up and down)

I just hole up in a corner and shoot anything that moves. Then I reach level 2 and die.

Staying in the edges doesn't work for long even in the early levels.

It's important to amass as many coins and get lucky with power ups as possible.

Congrats on the doneness! And a hearty thank you for the tips as I got to about screen 7 (2nd of Level 2 I think) and got stuck and had to put it down. Time to pick up JotPK again and get a little farther!

Nice job! Even with forcing each floor once at a time it isn't exactly a cakewalk, I still have yet to play much of either of the arcade games myself

Don't be like me when I first tried to do one level each day and quit the game before physically going to the next stage thinking I beat the last enemy on this current stage already so I'm good to advance...
It took me days of being on the same stage before I realize I have to physically go to the next stage and quit then, in order to advance to the next stage the next day!

But everyone should at least give this minigame an earnest attempt, if just to see the final cut-scene... it's super cute
