Windows Items going missing from inventory

I’m playing on the steam deck.
New game, updated, day 12 and I went to drop off an artifact with Gunther but it was gone. I don’t know if it was there when I woke up on day 12 or if it went missing when I upgraded my backpack to the 24 slot.
